Under the Patronage of the Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Ripe is pleased to announce the return of the Ripe Food & Craft Market, on Friday 10th October at Zabeel Park, Dubai.

"In essence, Ripe is all about getting back to basics - growing local, eating local, supporting local." said Becky Balderstone, Founder of Ripe.

Located under the lush green palms of Zabeel Park, what better way to spend your Friday morning than picking fresh, organic, local fruits and veggies from the Ripe Stall at our distinctive alfresco shopping venue in the heart of Dubai! And as usual, we're getting the whole community involved, with around 150 vendors including the best artisans, foodies, designers, jewellers and musicians in town.

Last season, the Ripe Food & Craft Market had around 12,000 visitors a week through the gates, spanning all nationalities and a variety of ages from toddlers to teenagers, professionals, parents and grandparents. Proving the Ripe Food & Craft Market really does have something for everyone.

"We have worked so hard to grow the market and the support Ripe has received from the Dubai Municipality Parks Department has been invaluable," said Becky Balderstone.

“The new Zabeel Park location ensures we continue to develop and grow our market concept, as well as engage a larger segment of the community and consistently provide Dubai residents and visitors with a unique experience every Friday,” said Becky Balderstone.

"The Municipality continues to engage in the effective implementation of recreational programs within the city's public parks that target the community, such as Ripe Food & Craft Markets. This year, the municipality is proud to be an official partner and supporter of the Ripe Food & Craft Market and is working with Ripe to ensure this season of the Ripe Food & Craft Market showcases Zabeel Park as a hub for the community and the cities independent, local businesses," said Mohammed Hassan Al Fardan, Head of Parks at Dubai Municipality .

Zabeel Park also means Ripe can offer an even wider selection of products, increase the variety of vendors and provide better activities. Where else in Dubai can you spend a Friday morning shopping for veggies, drinking coconut water, buying handmade art and engage in a cooking class, while the kids take advantage of the petting zoo! And from a practical point of view the new location offers better accessibility and lots more parking.
