Deco Vision, a leading Abu Dhabi-based interior contracting and design firm, yesterday said it recently won a Dh150 million project to furbish the interiors of the Etihad Towers being built on the Abu Dhabi Corniche opposite the Emirates Palace Hotel.

The project is valued at an estimated Dh2.5 billion. Rising over 300 metres, Etihad Towers will comprise five towers including a high-end hotel to be managed by the Jumeirah Group.

It is designed by the Australian international design consultant DBI. Deco Vision has been commissioned to execute decoration works for the Jumeirah hotel comprising 400 guest suites, and 182 serviced apartments, along with a host of public areas including the lobby, spa, gymnasium, beach bar and pool bar. Additionally the company will execute 12 restaurants ranging from casual-chic to fine dining and an observation deck that will have panoramic views in all directions.

Youssef Farran, Managing Director of Deco Vision, said: "Deco Vision will be working on the furniture, fit-outs, joinery and laying out marble flooring and panels.

"The scale of the development has presented us with an opportunity to reinforce our reputation as Abu Dhabi's preferred interior solutions provider. The expected date of delivery is early 2011," he said.

The firm's portfolio of executed works include the Khalidiyah Palace Rotana Hotel and two luxury restaurants at the Emirates Palace Hotel – the Hakkassan and the Local. Established in July 2003 in Abu Dhabi and member of the Royal Goup, Deco Vision has a factory located in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, and employs more than 350 technicians, led by a team of designers and engineers. The facility is currently undergoing expansion.
