His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has issued in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Decree No.15 for 2009 forming a three-year tenure board of Meydan Group.
The decree named Saeed bin Humaid Mattar Al Tayer as Chairman of the board and Ahmed Abdullah Al Shaikh as his deputy. Maleh Lahaj Al Basti and representatives of Dubai Equestrian Club and Dubai Racing Club will serve as members of the board. The decree went into force from February 24, 2009. It will be published on the gazette. Meydan oversees the development of the new iconic horseracing project.
