Freej Dubailand presentation at Madinat Jumeirah was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.

Saeed Al Muntafiq, Executive Chairman of Tatweer, said: "It is indeed a proud moment, not just for Tatweer but for the whole of the UAE that the success and popularity of a home grown product is being recognised with a dedicated world-class theme park."

The park will also include 2,600 hotel rooms, plus retail, food and beverage outlets. Freej Dubailand is expected to welcome more than two million visitors a day. The park's cost and construction schedule are yet to be announced.
