UAE Cabinet reshuffle approved

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree approving a Cabinet reshuffle in which Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, while Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is now Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs.

Sheikh Khalifa approved the cabinet reshuffle, proposed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in which Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, has also been appointed as Minister of Education while Dr Hanif Hassan Ali has
been moved to the Ministry of Health.

New Cabinet

Following is the new cabinet based on the cabinet reshuffle decree: 

- His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE, Ruler of Dubai and Defence Minister 

- Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister 

- Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs 

- Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance 

- Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister 

- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research 

- Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works 

- Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade 

- Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs 

- Mohammed bin Dha'en Al Hamili, Energy Minister 

- Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Economy Minister 

- Maryam bint Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister for Social Affairs
