Work ban during summer

Acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Labour Humaid bin Dimas, has reiterated the ministry would continue observing the work ban during the afternoon with effect from July to end of August.

He said in a meeting held in Dubai yesterday that Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash had issued directives on the implementation of the decision, follow up and intensification of inspection. He called on all firms to abide by the decision.

Dimas urged inspectors to study each case to ensure violation has been committed before submitting reports.

Inspection Director Mahir Al Owbed also asked inspectors to be accurate when reporting violations.
