No surprise that Iron Man 2 is at the top of the UAE box-office at the moment, but it obviously faces competition from other superhero flick Kick-Ass this weekend.

But if comic-book stories are not really your thing, there are plenty of other releases to check out, including a Bollywood drama, Japanese horror, and a classic animation-turned-3D.

The Losers

In this adaptation of Vertigo, Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Jensen (Chris Evans), Roque (Idris Elba), Pooch (Columbus Short), and Cougar (Óscar Jaenada) are on a blacks-ops mission in the Bolivian jungle when rogue CIA agent Max (Jason Patric) turns on them and leaves them to die.

However, after surviving their ordeal, the team decides to strike back against Max even if it means sacrificing their own lives to do so. Aiding them on their mission is sexy operative Aisha (Zoe Saldana), who has her own reasons for wanting to see Max get his just desserts.

The Back-up Plan

This film marks the return of Jennifer Lopez to the big screen since 2007... shame it's such a dud.

Here, Jenny from the block plays Zoe, who, after years of dating, has decided that waiting for the right man is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment and decides to go it alone.

However, on the day of her artificial insemination, surprise surprise, Zoe meets Stan (Alex O'Loughlin). Will he end up being the one?

The Grudge 3

The ghosts of Kayako and Toshio return to spread terror as the Grudge saga continues in this sequel.

Jake (Matthew Knight) may have survived the previous supernatural onslaught, though the sheer terror of his harrowing ordeal has rendered him nearly insane.

Hospitalised, Jake is haunted by visions of his ghostly attackers as his caretaker Dr Sullivan (Shawnee Smith) sets out to investigate his incredible tales. In the midst of exploring Jake's Chicago home, Dr Sullivan discovers that Kayako and Toshio have targeted a new family.

Toy Story 2 (3D)

We first heard of this film in 1999 when it was released as the sequel to the 1995 hit Toy Story.

Now you can relive the adventures of Woody the Cowboy, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the gang – only this time it's in full 3D glory.

Badmaash Company

Directed by Parmeet Sethi, this Bollywood flick follows the story of four ordinary youngsters (played by Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang and Vir Das. T) in 1990s Bombay as they come together to start a business.

Finding a way to beat the system, they soon become millionaires. But they soon discover that in order to keep a business, you need a good idea rather than tonnes of cash.
