Portal to search for Emirati actors

Imagenation Abu Dhabi announced the launch of www.emiratifilmstar.com, an online portal, which aims to discover the region's untapped acting talent.

Starting from today, Emiratis and Arab expatriates in the UAE interested in auditioning for Imagenation Abu Dhabi's films are invited to visit the website and apply. Those who meet the requirements have the potential of being invited for a casting call with the film's casting director.

Imagenation Abu Dhabi revealed its Emirati slate, which includes: Sea Shadow, Million's Poet, Djinn, Alaska, Monsoon and Alis and Aishas earlier this month. Sea Shadow will be the first project to utilise the website – with principal photography beginning towards the end of 2010.
