Emirates Identity Authority revises charges

Emirates Identity Authority (Eida) announced that it will charge Dh70 to register children under 15 years in the ID scheme. It will also charge additional Dh70 for other services.

As for the UAE nationals, Eida charges Dh100 registration fees and Dh20 card delivery fees (ID card valid for five years, as for children’s they must renew the ID card once they become 15 years old).

As for the residents, Eida charges Dh100 registration fees against each valid year in his/her residency permit and Dh20 card delivery fees (ID card expiry date linked to residency expiry date).

As for the GCC citizens, it charges Dh100 registration fees for each year requested by the applicant (five years are the maximum duration allowed) and Dh20 card delivery fees (ID card expiry date linked to number of years selected).
