Metha'a has asked for UAE currency to be available in Braille (File)
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, has responded to a tweet from an Emirati lady who requested for bank notes to be printed in Braille, reports Al Ittihad.
Sheikh Abdullah in his reply tweet, wrote that he wished the UAE Central Bank adopts the suggestion to print currency notes in Braille alphabet to help people who are differently-abled.
The Emirati woman, Metha’a, tweeted that such a step will immensely help the visually impaired by restoring confidence in them.
The quick response from Sheikh Abdullah has received praise from all on Twitter.
