7 months have flown by, says Aishwarya Rai

Bollywood actress and former Miss World claims she has no 'fixed plans' as to when she would start work on a new film. She is enjoying her time with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan who was born last November.

Every couple of days, a new rumour does the round of Aishwarya signing a new Bollywood film with some leading star or the other. However, Aishwarya says she is taking one day at a time and enjoying her time off after working in the show business for more than 18 years.

While holidaying in London, Aishwarya Rai made an appearances at the 25th anniversary celebration of Britain's MP of Indian origin Keith Vaz. She told those gathered there, "Being a mum, I love it. It is like a bliss."

Motherhood is Aishwarya's top priority and she has no immediate plans to return to films. "We will see as things go," she said as she fielded the volley of 'comeback' questions.

She told Digital Spy: "I have no clue. I have no idea how the last six and a half months have just flown by. We will see as it goes and you all will know whenever it is meant to be."

According to the Bollywood grapevine, Aishwarya has principally agreed to now work in a film with a filmmaker known to get actresses doing different roles on the big screen.

She had been reading several scripts even before the baby was born, but stopped after Aaradhya’s birth. And now after reading scripts all over again, she has zeroed in on this director who she feels will do a lot of justice to her talent and beauty and also has picked a script which she can work on even as she plays mom to the little one.

Aishwarya has been looking after her daughter's needs from Day 1. Aishwarya and Abhishek did not even hire a nanny for their baby. Abhishek spends quality time with the baby when Aishwarya has to make a rare appearance to keep her brand endorsement commitments or a social do that she cannot ignore. Aishwarya's mother has been filling in whenever Aishwarya has travelled on work - to Dubai and Cannes - recently.
