Bollywood’s most photographed star and believed by many as the face of Indian cinema globally, the doe-eyed beauty never ceases to be in news.

Right from the moment she was crowned the most beautiful woman in the world to essaying the star-mom’s role with elan, Aishwarya Rai continues to make headlines.

Even when the media haunted her with post-delivery weight issues, she never shied away from the flashlights. But when her little bundle was focused on, the protective mom in her raised the ante.

She used everything from files and mobiles to shawls, oversized woolen caps and even human shields to protect Aaradhya from being photographed, calling on media ire. They described her acts as gimmicks. But she never relented and held her little girl close to her bosom on every single outing.

Finally, 11 months later, Aaradhya wriggled her head out from her mother’s clasp introducing herself to the world. And there followed another barrage of accusations of she playing an over-protective star mother.

But this time, Ash decided to speak up. And here she goes… "[I protected her] when I saw 40 cameras flashing at my baby, it was natural on my part to shield her…I don't want her to get hassled by this attention. After all, she's not even a year old."
