Kajol not invited to JTHJ premiere, ignored by SRK, Rani, Aditya

The entire film fraternity glittered at the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ premiere on Monday night. Some who worked with the legendary filmmaker; someone whom he knew and some just lucky to make it to the guest list.

While many of the leading ladies of Yash Chopra’s films were seen sashaying down the red carpet, one prominent face was missing - Kajol.

The actress gave Yash Raj Films the biggest hit ever since its inception. Adiya Chopra’s ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ actress was royally ignored at the gala premiere. It’s ironical that Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayengey', which is the longest running film in Indian cinema is not being invited for the legendary filmmaker's premiere.

A certain Indian daily reported that Kajol made a sly entry, avoiding the media and coming in using the back entrance. But Kajol's sister Tanishaa had a different story to say on Twitter.

Quoting the article she replied, "lol!Did they clone her?#checkurfacts (sic)." "i find it hard to believe since she was home with me:) #checkurfacts", she continued.

When Emirates 24|7 wanted a confirmation from Tanishaa if the stroy in the daily was false, she wrote back, "truth will always win! #checkurfacts".

Earlier  condemning Yash Raj Films, Tanishaa retweeted a fan’s tweet, which read: “Kajol was da leading lady of DDLJ.... we condemn such shameful act decide by rani, srk, yash ji family, uday and adi(sic)”

Emirates 24|7 reported how Rani Mukerjee was at the helm of affairs as far as the guest list of the premiere was concerned.

The fact that Rani and Kajol are not really close is an open secret, even though they are cousins.

Till now the two cousins have maintained their distance and a dignified silence over their relationship.

But this time when Rani and the Yash Raj family ignored the most successful actress of the production house seemed little harsh on Kajol.

The actress and Aditya Chopra also shares a very friendly relationship but considering the relationship Aditya shares with Rani it is only natural that he will go by what his lady love dictates upon.

The relationship between Kajol and YRF worsened when Ajay slammed a case against YRF for using its dominant market position to give more screen space to JTHJ.

Initially Kajol decided to keep quiet on the controversy but could not stay away for long. While in Dubai she extended her support to husband Ajay in his fight with YRF saying, "I'm supporting 'Son of Sardaar', it is my film, it is my home production."

Meanwhile, Salman Khan who had been openly supporting Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son Of Sardar’ on Twitter, did turn up at the premiere of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ perhaps to support ‘good’ friend Katrina Kaif.

Salman was last seen in YRF’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ opposite Katrina which made it to the Rs 100 crore club earlier this year.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news and tweeted, “Those asking, yes, all three Khans - SRK, Aamir & Salman - were under one roof for #JTHJ premiere. Premiere and post-premiere party rocked!(sic)”

From Madhuri Dixit to Sridevi to Aishwarya to Rekha- all were present to watch Yash Chopra’s last film except Kajol.
