No Swiss happy ending for Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif’s love fest

Shah Rukh Khan confirms that ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ is complete.

“We have decided to release the film in a very happening manner like Yashji always did for his films.

Yashji somehow realised that this film would be his last. He had also said ‘I will die with my coat on’. This film will see the light of day,” says Shah Rukh.

Shah Rukh reveals: “The film is not on the lines of yesteryear film ‘Daag.’ Nor is it a remake at all.

“I have had the opportunity of working with two beautiful ladies, Anushka and Katrina. When we worked with Anushka for the first time, Adi and I wanted to applaud her for her performances but she would not readily take it.

“The highly prolific performances from Anushka from her very first shot left me and Adi both astounded.

“In fact, working with both Katrina and Anushka, watching their high energy level, I need to buck up and try to come to their level. These girls are really very good at their work.”

Discussing the song that was to be filmed in Switzerland, Shah Rukh says, “Yashji had said, ‘It will be like a party for us.’ Now, we don’t have the heart to go to Switzerland without him.

“However, this is the first time in life I am not missing Yashji. I feel he is around us somewhere in the air. It is a very strange feeling but truly speaking I always feel Yashji will come all of a sudden and talk to me.”

Shah Rukh definitely bonded with Yashji much more than discussing films.

“In fact, on the sets we would never discuss films. Our relationship went beyond films. But I would always look forward to hearing from Yashji on Sunday, especially when our films released.

“He would call up and tell me ‘I am so happy for the films that have released.’ Such humble thinking would always come from Yashji. He always thought well of others too.”

Away from reminisces of Yash Chopra, we find that Shah Rukh gets bugged by the measuring barometer of crores of rupees.

The King Khan says, “Actually we are creative people and I feel the meter gauge needs to be only a good film and an enjoyable film.

“There should be no big film or small film comparisons and also comparing with numbers sounds so funny. After a few days, people will count as 300 Shah Rukh Khans or so many crores of Anushka Sharma’s films.

“This trend has been created by the media. But I personally do not like the numbering game at all.”

Another query that bugs SRK is when his co-stars are asked to compare working with the other Khans.

“It is really very unethical to ask which co-actor is better. Every actor does his best. No one will ever like to perform their worst in any given conditions. The homosapiens have been born here to put in their best,” he claims.
