If it’s Aamir Khan, chances are, eccentric film publicity stunts are likely to follow.

The Bollywood megastar, who is gearing up for the Raju Hirani-directed ‘PK’ that releases in UAE cinemas on December 18, has finally agreed to an audience with his UAE fans, bringing along his filmmaker comrade-behind-the-camera and actress Anushka Sharma for an exclusive film screening of… ‘3 Idiots’.

Yes, you read that right. The trio will be attending a screening on December 15 of the 2009 Aamir-starrer, that went on to become one of the biggest grossing Bollywood film of the time, earning over Dh285 million at the global box office.

Post the screening, Aamir, along with the ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’ director and Anushka will interact with the exclusive audience attending the invite-only event at Grand Cineplex Wafi.

It is a wonder why Aamir is keen on showcasing his previous outing with Raju, as opposed to hosting the world premiere of his upcoming ‘PK’ in Dubai, but then, the actor is known for promoting his films in manners that few can expect him to pull off.

The highly anticipated film, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sushant Singh Rajput and Boman Irani, has been produced by Vinod Chopra Films, Rajkumar Hirani Films and UTV Motion Pictures.

While ‘PK’s’ plot remains a closely guarded secret, the film has already courted controversy with its posters and a scene that depicts Aamir in his birthday suit, holding a transistor for modesty.

However, when quizzed by the media, the actor has refused to comment on the scene in the film, only saying that it's a crucial point in ‘PK’ that is best scene when the movie goes on general release.
