There is no stopping for Bollywood actress Deepika with a hat-trick of hit movies in 2013... and there's still 'Ram Leela' to come opposite Ranveer Singh.

And after delivering two hits with Shah Rukh Khan - ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Chennai Express’ she is set to do the third one with this superstar.

Director Farah Khan has finally found her leading lady for 'Happy New Year' (HNY) in Deepika.

Several delays and the prolong hunt for her heroine, Farah is now ready to start shoot with nearly 200 crew members in September in Dubai.

The first schedule is all set to roll out at the famous Atlantis, The Palm Hotel & Resort. It is reported that the team is supposed to shoot for 50 days at the hotel.

Last month the director came down to Dubai to scout for locations. Farah had put up at the Atlantis and posted pictures on her social media platform.

Farah informed Emirates24|7, "Right now I cannot divulge any details regarding the location or else we will be hounded there (Dubai). Maybe once we come down we can have a press conference and we will talk to the media."

The director has long back signed Shah Rukh as the lead along with Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani. While all the male actors had signed the dotted lines there were still confusion about the female lead.

Farah Khan was tight lipped when Emirates24|7 got in touch, "I have no liberty to talk about the movie and cannot make any announcement about the heroine darling."

Interestingly, Farah’s heroine has to be a fast-talking Marathi girl and also a fabulous dancer since it’s the role of a bar dancer. The director must have considered Deepika's trick with the thick Tamil accent in 'Chennai Express' and how the audiences found it attractive.

So definitely her experimental streaks and take on different genres of movies prompted Farah's decision.

The shroud of secrecy surrounding the heroine of 'Happy New Year' was nothing less than a suspense drama. But now the secret is out.

According to numerous reports, which came out intermittently, Farah has approached the best of bests for the role. First Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's name surfaced then we get a whiff that SRK is vouching for Priyanka, later Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone's name emerged.

Audience liked SRK and Deepika’s chemistry in ‘Chennai Express’ and keeping in mind the audience choice, Farah finally signed Deepika.
