They’ve never shied away from flaunting their love, and six years on and a one-year-old daughter Aardhaya later, the two are still very much in love.
With their sixth wedding anniversary just around the corner, Abhishek and his gorgeous wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are indulging in some much-needed romance.
A scenario often unthinkable in celeb-land, but one that the Bachchans have effortlessly achieved.
While the initial focus was on the couple, their little girl grabbed all the attention after her arrival.
But, now that the Aaradhya obsession has died down, the focus has shifted to the stars, who we are told is currently spending some quality time together in Vancouver.
According to the Indian media, the two had headed there for a film awards night, but stayed back for a holiday.
Fans of the stars even clicked pictures of the them as they strolled through the picturesque city.
In fact, at the film awards night, Abhishek was honoured for his impeccable comic act in ‘Bol Bachchan’ and had dedicated it to his wife.
“I really owe this to Aishwarya and the love and support she has given me. She makes me the person that I am,” he said after receiving the award.
Ash-Abhi had actually travelled, with their baby girl, a few days ahead of the function so that they could rehearse with choreographer Shiamak Dhavar.
Images of the trio, minus the baby of course, made headlines in the Indian media.
Bollywood’s royal couple is known for their PDAs, with the two posing for the shutterbugs as they look into each other’s eyes.
Every red carpet event or movie premiere was flagged to display their love.
Such blatant romantic acts have been far too few since the arrival of Aaradhya, but the recent Canadian trip proved different.
Many fans reported their Abhi-Ash spotting as they strolled through the city.
With Abhishek busy with the shooting schedule of ‘Dhoom 3’, and Ash busy with her new humanitarian initiative with the UN, this does appear to be a well deserved family outing for the couple.
