Abhishek breaks silence on divorce claims with Aishwarya Rai

 

Rumours are abuzz in the Indian media that actor Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are on the brink of divorce.

But the actor has hit back at rumours and rubbished such claims in a very cryptic Abhishek Bachchan style.

Reacting to rumours about in his marriage, 38-year-old actor wrote on Twitter:

Reports of rift between the couple emerged just when Aishwarya is poised to walk the red carpet during the Cannes Film festival for the 13th consecutive time.
 
The former beauty queen who was appointed as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal in 2003 joined the likes of Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell and Penelope Cruz in representing the international cosmetic company.

Speculations were rife when Aishwarya was spotted leaving for the French Riviera with daughter Aaradhya but without husband Abhishek Bachchan.

As reported earlier by Emirates247, Abhishek is busy shooting for his next 'Happy New Year' and hence could not accompany his wife.

Abhishek and Aishwarya will attend the star-studded amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala on May 22.

Ash missed the first of her two scheduled appearances at the 67th International Film Festival due to an air traffic controllers' strike in France.

She will now walk the red carpet at the gala on May 20, 21.
