Abhishek's cheerleaders: Amitabh, Aishwarya Rai, Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan

The first edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in India, started on 26 July with eight franchises in the fray. The tournament, which is modelled after the hugely successful Indian Premier League (IPL), ends on 31 August.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s kabaddi team, Jaipur Pink Panthers, faced their first match in the Pro Kabaddi League and celebrities showed their support to junior Bachchan.

Jaipur Pink Panthers were up against U MUMBA in the Pro Kabaddi League at the NSCI Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday (July 26).

Abhishek Bachchan was joined by his wife Aishwarya, parents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, co-stars Shah Rukh, Aamir and host of other Bollywood stars along with ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

The game was also an occasion for many to catch up with old friends. Shah Rukh  Khana and Aishwarya were captured in the same frame after a long time.

Aamir Khan and Sachin Tendulkar were one such pair and bonded well with one another even obliging the thrilled paparazzi with photographs. 

Abhishek and Aamir, who worked together in Dhoom: 3 also seemed to have a lot of catching up to do.

Though abhishek Bachchan's team eventually lost the match, it did not deter the spirit of the Bachchans who led the cheerleading squad at the event.
