Actress Renee Zellweger shocks the world with her new (plastic) face

No, I am not against botox, facelift or plastic surgery - but when one destroys a pretty fresh-face to stay young (forever).

On Monday night in Beverly Hills, Elle magazine hosted its “Women in Hollywood Awards”.

In that evening of showbiz's self-congratulatory spirit where role of actresses in the industry was recognised there was someone strolling down the red carpet totally and utterly unrecognisable.

All anyone was talking or writing about from the event was Renee Zellweger’s face.

Over the years Renee transformed into beautiful characters like Bridget Jones (Bridget Jones's Diary, 2001), Roxie Hart (Chicago, 2002), Ruby Thewes (Cold Mountain, 2003).

But this cosmetic surgery has just transformed the Jerry Maguire actress - Renee Zellweger is not herself anymore.

Just by judging from the photos alone, it's fair to speculate that the 45-year-old actress has undergone much more invasive procedures.
