Aditya and Karan's bitter Twitter war

Social media saw a Twitter war between two leading production houses in Bollywood. First it was Aditya Chopra ‘s company Yash Raj Films that tweeted about the fact that the Nashe Di Chadh Gayi song from the underperforming Aditya Chopra directed Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer film Befikre had become the first Bollywood song to touch 350 million.

By September last year, the song sung by Arijit Singh and Caralisa Monteiro has become the first Hindi movie song to cross 300 million views on Youtube. The music of the film has been composed by Vishal Shekhar and produced by Michael Mcleary.

But soon after the tweet, Karan Johar who had even played a cameo as Shah Rukh Khan’s friend in Aditya’s debut film Dilwale Dulhaniye Le Jaayenge, decided to tweet about the Kala Chashma song from another flop film Baar Baar Dekho. “Incidentally the song Kala Chashma sung by Badshah and Neha Kakkar also crossed 350 million views and managed to touch 385 million views. So Karan did not keep quiet and tweeted about it as well,” we are informed.
