Post Dubai, Lady Gaga set to mesmerise Istanbul

Pop diva Lady Gaga kicked off her Middle Eastern leg of artRAVE: the ARTPOP Ball tour in Dubai Wednesday (Sep 10), and now the she is set to take Istanbul by storm on September 16 (Tuesday).

The star arrived in her private jet and did not hesitate to meet her young and eager little monsters waiting for the diva.

Her fans thronged the airport arrival terminal and pleaded for autographs; fans who managed to get her attention shed tears of joy.

Gaga was overwhelmed by the waiting fans and wrote on Twitter, "GROUND CONTROL from Istanbul! FINALLY I'm with my beautiful Turkish Fans! And o boy were they ready at the airport, thank you for the hugs and cheers you gorgeous kids!"

And it seems her eager little monsters broke barricades to reach to the stars. Gaga tweeted, "#artRaveIstanbul They broke the steel barricades, don't mess with monsters."

On reaching her hotel Gaga was ready to enjoy the Turkish hospitality.

"I need some Hookah and Turkish coffee stat! #GagaInIstanbul"

"My suite in Istanbul is simply sensational. Incredible space, design, views and luxury. Look at this chocolate wheel, grand piano and flowers. I'll be writing some songs while I'm here!"

"They even left a sweet note for Miss Asia, next to a beautiful puppy bed, food and silver bowls. Ultimate elegance, a million thank yous I feel like a princess."

During her stay in the United Arab Emirates, the normally-eccentric singer toned down her signature eye-catching style.

After her performance the singer gushed about the opportunity and tweeted, "Last nights performance in Dubai was a privilege and honor. I have prayed to come here and be with you. Shukran monsters, I LOVE YOU".

Lady Gaga and Dubai is a match made in stylish, sophisticated heaven.

After her show Gaga took time out to enjoy a night of shisha, henna painting and belly dancing in the desert.

She caressed the desert in a beautiful, lush and loose-fitting sapphire gown.

The 28-year-old star said she was "overwhelmed by the kindness" that she had been shown on the excursion and took to her Instagram account to share photos of the trip.

In a series of tweet Gaga expressed her gratitude, "We ate and enjoyed Hookah in the middle of the desert. The women gave us Henna, and we rode camels in the moonlight. The belly dancer was sensational. I'm overwhelmed by the kindness everyone has show us."

"Thank you for the journey of a lifetime Dubai."
