Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan start rehearsal for their stage show

The Times of India Film Awards, which kick-starts in Vancouver on April 4, will see the biggest names from Hindi cinema dazzle on stage.

Fans lined up at the Vancouver International Airport to meet and greet some of the Bollywood megastars arriving for the event. And they were not disappointed as the stars stopped by for pictures and autographs as they arrived for the 3-day event.

It's going to be a starry week in Vancouver as the biggest names in Bollywood head to British Columbia. Among the famous few to arrive early was star couple Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Aishwarya and Abhishek will perform together at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) in Vancouver on April 6. Officials claim Aishwarya's Vancouver performance along with her husband would be her first overseas performance post the birth of her baby daughter Aaradhya.

Ash and Abhi reached Vancouver and began practicing their cat with choreographer Shiamak Davar. Abhishek tweeted a ppicture and wrote: "With @Shiamakofficial and the Mrs. Not bad huh? Considering we just got off an almost 24 hour flight!!"

"Killer flight, but Vancouver is definitely worth it!! Beautiful place. And now to rehearsals….. @Shiamakofficial be kind! SDIPA my favourite dance company, they make you look better on stage," Abhsiehk continued.

TOIFA is a three-day-long extravaganza of fashion and music, in addition to the awards from April 4-6.

Apart from Aishwarya and Abhishek, many leading actors from film industry including Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mohit Chauhan are expected to perform at the gala event.

Ranbir Kapoor and charming Anushka Sharma will be co-hosting the red carpet of the gala awards show on April 6. Actor Boman Irani will also join them in the show.

More than 70 local dancers are working full days preparing for the three days’ performance at the TOIFA event.
