After winning over critics with her Royal Ascot appearance in the UK last week, along with a fashionable turn aboard the Orient Express, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s travels have now brought her to sunny Dubai for a brief stopover.

Reports of Aishwarya sightings have been inundating fans and the media, alike, with two such visits being confirmed with well placed sources: a visit to the local mall, along with an advertisement shoot at a plush property.

According to insiders, the 39-year-old mother of one flew into Dubai over the weekend, finding time to check out her palatial property in Sanctuary Falls, Jumeirah Golf Estates before heading to a popular shopping mall.

Rumour has it though, the shopping expedition didn’t go exactly as planned, with the actress being mobbed by excited fans; so much so, that the mall authorities suggested a hasty retreat through a back door.

However, Monday proved not to be as manic, with Rai Bachchan reporting in front of the cameras for a product shoot, dressed in a crisp white, knee-skimming dress.

Shooting alongside her was an unnamed model from Dubai, with the two of them finding time to pose for a wayward camera, with a picture of the shoot finding itself on Facebook, complete with a brand of local water to confirm the picture was indeed from the emirate.

While no images have surface of daughter Aaradhya, it is a given the young mite is travelling with her mother, what with the actress telling the UK press just last week:
“I don’t ever leave her. My mother has been travelling with me as well, which is great.

“Even prior to marriage and motherhood, it’s always been about prioritising and focussing on what you can commit to. I just take on what I can commit to completely at that point in time and that way you’ll be able to give your best.”
