Aishwarya Rai becomes the 'perfect Beti'

A galaxy of Bollywood divas descended at the red carpet during the L'Oreal Paris Femina Women Awards 2012 in Mumbai.

Fashionista Soman Kapoor to Kangana Ranuat and B-town newbie mummies Aishwarya Rai to Lara Dutta, were present at the award ceremony which was part of the celebration of 40th anniversary of cosmetic major L'Oral Paris.

But all eyes were at Aishwarya Rai who stepped out for the first time to attend a public event after she gave birth to her daughter four months back.

Aishwarya on her first official appearance post motherhood was awarded 'The Iconic Woman of Worth'.

Ash was accompanied by her mother Vrinda Rai who was honored with a special 'She's Worth it Award,' by Ash herself.

The actress was surprised when she was asked to give away the special award to her mother. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said her mother Vrinda is responsible for whatever she is today, reports Zoom TV.

"She is the nucleus of my existence who has gently molded me, shaped me, picked me up when I've been down, has faith in me and taught me to be the very best version of me that I can be," Aishwarya said.

Aishwarya also presented the 'Who's Worth it Award' to Nicola Esteves at the event.

Ash chose to wear a bright coloured Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Georgette suit (salwaar-kameez) for the occasion.

She accessorized it with Armani T-strap nude satin heels, oval diamond hoop earrings and an exquisite ring in her right hand ring finger.

Her deep auburn colored hair, styled in loose waves with a side parting, draped her shoulders, with bangs framing her forehead. Her makeup was balanced; she wore shimmering pink lipstick; slick of pink blusher, thick black liner on top lashline, smudged kohl liner on lower lashline and lashings of mascara.

Though her face was glowing and she looked pretty but the same cannot be said about the dress she was wearing. This dress is a big letdown from Aishwarya.
