Acclaimed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, was on a two-day visit to Mumbai. In a master-class of sort, Spielberg interacted with as many as 61 Indian filmmakers.

On Tuesday, Bollywood's who's who marked their presence at a star-studded party hosted by Indian business tycoon Anil Ambani and his wife Tina in Spielberg's honour.

As the Ambani house in Cuffe Parade started filling up with stars and celebrities, gossip trickled out from the bash.

Indian media reported that Steven Spielberg has decided to make a film that would feature Indian actors as well as Hollywood biggies.

Names were being mentioned left, right and center. Apparently Spielberg is looking at casting Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan or Hrithik Roshan as the male lead, Anushka Sharma is considered to play the female lead. Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are also in the wish-list.

The international casts being considered include Denzel Washington and Bradley Cooper. Richard Gere is also likely to play an important role in the yet-unnamed film.

The report also stated that the film is to be produced by Reliance DreamWorks — a joint venture between 66-year-old Spielberg and industrialist Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment.

When Emirates24|7 got in touch with Reliance Dreamworks they were rather non-committal about the piece of news.

A spokesman from Relaince said, "Our response to this would be, 'No Comments', that's all we can say as of now. We will not be able to say where the media got this information from."

A chance to work with Spielberg would be a life time opportunity for any actor. But are the Indian actors running to grab it? Not really!

As per the wish-list, they have named Aishwarya Rai. But Ash is no stranger to Hollywood. She has starred in many movies which have done reasonably well. Her films include 'Provoked', 'Bride and Prejudice', 'The Mistress of Spices', 'The Last Legion' and 'The Pink Panther 2'. Moreover, Ash is yet to resume work after her pregnancy break. It is unlikely that the actress will make her comeback with a Hollywood movie.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has said it many times that he would never even dream of attempting a Hollywood film. SRK said he is extremely happy and comfortable in his own territory. Khan feels that he is not cut out for Hollywood. SRK did not shy away to say that he has never been offered any movie from the West.

As for the Greek god of Indian film - Hrithik Roshan; the actor never expressed is wish to shift base. But Hollywood actress Kristen Stewart has expressed a desire to work in a Bollywood film with Hrithik Roshan. There was a buzz in B-town some two years ago that filmmaker Shekhar Kapur wanted to cast 'Twilight' in his ambitious project 'Paani' opposite Hrithik. But that ever happened.

The gen-x actresses Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone were unavailable for comments while this report was being filed.

But Indian actors have been shuttling all across the globe and seem to have balanced their careers in India with the international film circuit rather well.

From Aishwarya Rai to Irfaan, from Anupam Kher to Frieda Pinto, Amitabh Bhachan to Shabana Azmi; Indian actors are living their Hollywood dream and showcasing their talents on the western silver screen!
