Look who’s returning to Dubai.

Again.

Bollywood fans who may have missed his last 10 appearances to the emirate over the last two years (give or take a few), will be excited to know that Akshay Kumar is returning to Dubai once again this week.

This time, accompanying him will be another city favourite, controversial singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and the latest Bollywood bikini donning actress, Aditi Rao Hydari.

Organised by Essar Events, the trio will jet into the neighbourhood for a promotional stopover for the upcoming ‘Boss’, which releases in UAE cinemas on October 17.

The trio will conduct its publicity stint with the media before hobnobbing off to Jumeirah Emirates Towers for an exclusive party at Studio F on October 1.

Needless to say, we can surely expect Singh to sing the latest club anthem ‘Party All Night’, with Kumar and Hydari grooving to the beats. Maybe.

This is Kumar’s second appearance in two months, with his last appearance being for the presser for ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobaraa!’, where the actor met up with VIPs and went house hunting on The Palm Jumeirah.

In case you are wondering, our sources informed us the 46-year-old actor has yet to finalise deal on a plush pad here for his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and his two children.

In Kumar’s own words to Emirates 24|7 on his last trip, he said: “It’s not like I can go shopping and swipe my credit card to buy a home. These things take time and I am still looking around for what suits as a suitable base for my family.”

Well, if The Palm Jumeirah doesn’t work out, may we point out Sanctuary Falls, which has become a Bollywood hot bed lately, with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan already owning a palatial home there, followed by Ranbir Kapoor and his parents Rishi and Neetu also checking out villas there earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Kumar appears to have high expectations from ‘Boss’, after his previous outing tanked at the box office.

Taking a page out of his earlier films such as ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Khiladi 786’, this Malayalam movie remake of ‘Pokkiri Raja’ sees Kumar play a gangster with a heart of gold, known as, what else, but the ‘Boss’ who takes on bad guy Ronit Roy and breaks out into song and dance routines during intervals.

The actor has no leading lady paired opposite him in the film, but Sonakshi Sinha does make a token appearance for an item song, as does Prabhu Deva.
