The sixth edition of the reality game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati season 6' is back and back with it is Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the host.
Sr Bachchan will take the hot seat as the host for fifth time in the show which started 12 years back in 2000.
Bachchan confirming the news wrote on micro blogging website twitter: "Off for a meet with Sony for next KBC...planning, operation, execution....will keep you informed on its (KBC's) broadcast and other details."

After his meeting he tweeted again: "KBC meet went off well...cannot imagine it all started 12 years ago in 2000.. and it still survives..some startling facts coming up."
"KBC : 22 million people tuned in to the opening episode .. Continued to be watched by over 120 million through the 56 episodes !!," he wrote and continued,
"KBC : 16.5 crores prize money won, at an average of 12.5 lakhs per contestant on HOT SEAT .. and .. 7.4 crore entries for GBJJ ..!!"
KBC, an Indian reality game, is based on the UK game show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'.
Amitabh Bachchan hosted the show when it went on-air in 2000, it also marked as his maiden appearance on small screen.
Bachchan hosted the second season as well but the third season was bagged by actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Big B returned to anchor the fourth season aired on Sony Entertainment Television. He continued to host the fifth season of the show which saw a record number of people viewing the game show.
