Indian actors are infamous for turning up late at events and leading by example is none other than King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.

We know that punctuality is not Shah Rukh Khan's greatest virtue but this time SRK was ready for what was coming his way in Chennai.

Sahh Rukh, Deepika Padukone and the entire team of 'Happy New Year' were in Chennai for the Palam Silks SILKLINE ’15 fashion show.

Apparently, the journalists were invited at 4 PM for the event.

However, SRK arrived a good 4 hours late at 8 PM, reports The Hindu.

This angered the journalists to no end and they walked out of the event despite the superstar's assurance that he will talk to each of them exclusively.

Despite attempts to placate journalists by Khan, angry journalists voiced their displeasure and left the premises, said the report.

Mumbai photographers and journalists have made peace with this shortcoming of the stars but angry journalists in Chennai were not ready to be treated in such a manner.

SRK's Happy New Year, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, and Vivaan Shah, is all set to release on October 24.
