Anil Kapoor headed to Dubai for '24'

India's 'Jack Bauer' has exploded on to television screens once again and looks like Anil Kapoor is ready to lock and load for fans in the UAE as well this time around.

The Bollywood actor and now television’s Jai Singh Rathod is headed to Dubai this month to promote season two of his popular series ‘24’.

The thriller is already two weeks in, airing currently at 9pm UAE time on Saturday and Sunday on Colors TV, with the buzz surrounding Kapoor’s return to small screen refusing to die down.

Be it the action-packed plotline or a steamy kiss Kapoor’s character exchanges with his ladylove on the show, ‘24’ has opened to a positive response from the actor’s legion of followers, along with fans of the original Kiefer Sutherland-starrer that aired on Fox network in the US.

While further details of Kapoor’s appearance in Dubai are still under wraps, the actor will be in the emirate later this month in what we hope is a dramatic and fitting tribute to his on-screen character.

Might we suggest a zip-line through the Dubai Fountains, or even a Base Jump off Burj Khalifa?

While we allow Kapoor to mull over this, fans tuning into season two will see other well-known television and Bollywood names starring this time around including actress Surveen Chawla, along with Ashish Vidyarthi, Sikander Kher and the versatile Sakshi Tanwar.

Season one of the show aired in 2013, which saw Rathore play a member of the Anti-Terrorist Unit, protecting the Prime Minister from an attack.

This time, Kapoor returns to protect his country from dark forces at play.
