Jennifer Aniston is ready to marry again: The actress is engaged to screenwriter and actor Justin Theroux.

After dating for just over a year, Theroux's rep confirmed to People that the pair plan to walk down the aisle.

Aniston's representative, Stephen Huvane, confirmed the engagement on Sunday night to The Associated Press. It was first reported by People.com.

Forty-one-year-old Theroux — whose screenwriting credits include "Tropic Thunder," ''Iron Man 2" and "Rock of Ages" — popped the question on Friday, which was also his birthday.

The two both appeared in the comedy "Wanderlust," also starring Paul Rudd, earlier this year.

Earlier this month, the pair were spotted vacationing in Hawaii, just days before Theroux would propose on August 10.

This will be 43-year-old Aniston's second marriage and Theroux's first.

Her union with Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 — and their subsequent divorce — became rich material for the tabloids.

After her marriage ended, she was in high-profile relationships with Vince Vaughn and John Mayer.

Aniston and Theroux's engagement news comes on the heels of speculation that her ex and Angelina Jolie would be getting married last weekend at the couple's French chateau, but almost as quickly as they started, the rumors were laid to rest.

Finally the jibes over being envious of Angelina Jolie can be laid to rest.

Jennifer Aniston has well and truly moved on by getting engaged to partner Justin Theroux.
