Armaan Kohli arrested: Tanisha, Kamya and other Bigg Boss victims

Indian reality show 'Bigg Boss 7' participant Armaan Kohli has been arrested for alleged physical abuse.

The 41-year-old actor was arrested following a complaint by fellow Bigg Boss participant and actor Sofia Hayat alleging she was manhandled by Mr Kohli on the show which airs daily on Colors TV.

The British-Pakistani actress and model claims that Bigg Boss didn't air the footage.

Kohli allegedly hit Hayat on the face with a mop which she was using to wipe the windscreen of a car during a task on the show.

"A 6 feet two inches man hit me on my face with a stick. I thought he will be evicted but he was not. He is a very violent and aggressive person. He should not be given a second chance to hit any other woman. I don't want to teach him a lesson. I just want to do what is right," she had said in a statement.

This season saw the hot-headed Armaan Kohli get aggressive with almost every member of the reality show.

It was hard to understand if these were antics to keep the cameras constantly on him or the violent nature is inherent.

There have been a lot of instances in the Bigg Boss house that have made Armaan Kohli lash out on other housemates and his violent streaks have been ignored by the host Salman Khan and the makers of the show.

ARMAAN's VICTIMS:

TANISHA

Though Tanisha Mukherjee seems to be head over heels in love with Armaan, he in turn disrespects and abuses her.

Many times Tanisha has been the victim of his rude and violent temper. During his heated arguments with others when Tanisha wanted to stop Armaan, he pushed her hard without even realizing it.

But Tanisha has been taking these insults silently even after protest from host Salman Khan.

Her unconditional support and love towards Armaan has been taken for granted and he gets into argument with Tanisha at every given opportunity.

KAMYA

Kamya Punjabi's ugliest fight in the house was her spat with Armaan Kohli, who during a task had called the actress divorcee and even abused her.

Kamya was applauded for the way she conducted herself and stood up to Armaan.

Armaan hurled abuses and reduced her to tears. Even then there was no warning from the Bigg Boss makers.

ELLI

During one weekly luxury budget task, Armaan was asked to sit in a box for long.

When the housemates were trying to distract Armaan, he lost his temper and accidently punched Elli on her forehead. Everybody got hassled by this act and started blaming Armaan for it.

He started abusing everybody around him and told them that he did not do it deliberately.

SANGRAM

Armaan and wrestler had once come to blows with each other during an argument.

The actor verbally insulted the wrestler in the house saying "People who grow up in the ring do not know how to socialise or live with respectable people."

Armaan indirectly insulted Sangram's humble background and upbringing. This was considered as an insult to the national and international medal winner and his profession.

KUSHAL/AJAZ

Armaan and Kushal Tandon had a number of showdowns and often came close to a physical tussle. Armaan's foul language had become a routine in the house.

During a task he racially abused Kushal, calling him a 'black guy'.

While the contestants were performing the 'toy making task' Armaan got into a fight with Ajaz. He also taunted Ajaz for his small stature.

Earlier, Armaan used foul language, demeaning Ajaz's upbringing and his way of conversation.

PRATYUSHA/GAUHAR

Armaan also had a heated verbal argument with Pratyusha Banerjee when she voiced her support for Kushal Tandon.

Armaan's imposing tall built was threatening enough for a frail Pratyusha during their argument.

Even with Gauhar Khan, Armaan got into many arguments often bordering to insult and abuse.

But with Sofia it went little too far and the girl was not ready to take it lying down.

His temper not only saw him come out from the reality show (for a brief period) but also spend some time with the police.
