Arrived in Bollywood: Sushant Singh Rajput to romance Katrina

Katrina Kaif may be one of the leading heroines in the industry at the moment but she has realized that you can’t float through your career thriving on the Khan name or a 100 crore film. To be an established actress you need to give content based performance so that the critics can admire you as well. Which is why she has teamed up with one such filmmaker whose films are all about content rather the box-office number game – Abhishek Kapoor who recently made ‘Kai Po Che’.

The film was a average commercial hit but critically acclaimed and now we will see this new partnership in his upcoming untitled venture based on Charles Dickens classic – ‘Great Expectations’. The story is about an orphan and his dreams of making it big. Instead of being cast opposite a top gun in Bollywood, Katrina will instead star opposite a newcomer, Sushant Singh Rajput.

These ‘Kai Po Che’ boys seem to have gotten lucky as after the film they are getting chances to romance the hotties of B-town. Sushant would be seen with Parineeti Chopra soon enough in ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and then Kat. Rajkumar Yadav is being rumoured to romance Kangna Ranaut in ‘Queen’ while there were speculations Amit Sadh will be seen with Chitrangda Singh.
