It's cricket versus football and the battleground is Dubai.

Cricket and Bollywood go hand in hand in India, be it the Indian Premiere League (IPL) or the Celebrity Cricket League - movie stars hog all the limelight.

Besides the cricket craze, football fever is also catching up with some Bollywood boys.

Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to play some ball in Dubai for humanitarian cause.

These two stars have joined forces to play a football match to raise funds for one of India’s largest non-profit organisations - Magic Bus

Emirates24|7 was the first to inform that the duo will come to Dubai on January 31 to play their first ever international football match.

The All Stars Football Club – a property of charitable trust, Playing for Humanity – is spearheaded by Abhishek; and Ranbir and several others will play a game of football against the Dubai Royals at the Al Wasl Stadium.

Magic Bus works to create a better future for over a million children living in poverty from childhood all the way through to gainful employment, 'Playing for Humanity', has used the ever growing game of football as a platform.

In the opposition team is the Dubai Royals. Managed by Ministry of Events and Dream Advertising, this multi-talented team consists of the crème de la crème of Dubai.

And a day after the football madness, cricket will take over the baton of entertainment.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Malayalam film idol Mohanlal will be the star attraction at the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) Season Four which will be held in Dubai on February 1.

Indian film celebrities will compete against each other for the fourth time in the CCL organised by AURA Event Management.

CCL season 4 will have four teams comprising of television and silver screen actors showing off their skills on the pitch in Dubai.

Vibhor Gupta, Director of AURA Event Management confirmed that India's most popular celebrities such as Salman Khan and Mohanlal are a part of CCL Season 4.

"Indian celebrities are much loved by the residents of the UAE, and this one day event will showcase the comradeship as well as a healthy competitive spirit between our star players," he said.

The day will begin with Mumbai Heroes and Telugu Warriors battling each other, followed by Kerala Strikers and Veer Marathi.

Team Mumbai Heroes, playing at their home ground UAE, are led by Sunil Shetty, while their opponents, Telugu Warriors are led by Venkatesh.

Salman Khan is not the part of any team but he is the biggest draw and face of CCL.

With Abhishek and Ranbir playing a football match just a day before CCL it will be interesting to see which event attracts more crowd interest.
