As part of the UAE’s biggest free music festival, Beats on The Beach, Abu Dhabi will witness US R&B hit-machine Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, Juicy J and rising star Tinashe bring their chart smashing hits at the Corniche.

Delivering on the Yasalam promise of ensuring something for everyone, the Corniche line-up features an abundance of talent including UAE star Ruwaida Mahrooqi, regional Arabic performers Ragheb Alama, Chada Hassoun, Sabine and Two Tone, alongside Filipino sensation Charice and Bollywood crowd-puller Hard Kaur.

Jason Derulo

The extensive line-up is bolstered further by some of the best UAE-based acts, hand-picked for their talents - Juliana Down, The Boxtones, Nikotin, Kicksound and Jae Franklin.

In its sixth year, the Yasalam celebrations Live on the Corniche will take place at the West Plaza and Lagoon Beach for the first time, after previously occupying the East Plaza and Al Sahil Beach.

With the landmark shift in location comes one of the most diverse line-ups of performers ever seen in the UAE.

Hard Kaur

Setting the tone from the very start of Volkswagen Beats on the Beach, Thursday will include one of the most varied selections of artists featuring Filipino sensation Charice and rapper Juicy J.

Sabine

Rediscovering chart success with hits such as Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” the rapper has a history of delivering huge routines as part of the Three 6 Mafia and as a solo performer with tracks such as “Shell Checked” with Wiz Khalifa or “Low” with Nicki Minaj.

Drawing on over 10 years of experience, his performance will have the Abu Dhabi audience dancing from start to finish.

Chada Hassoun

Also performing over the course of the evening will be regional Arabic songstress Chada Hassoun and Moroccan hip-hop emerging artist, Two Tone.

Friday night will be headlined by the American chart-topper and multitalented singer/songwriter, Jason Derulo - a hugely popular choice for the educated and enthusiastic Yasalam crowd.

Charice

Sure to excite the thousands who fill the Corniche for Volkswagen Beats on the Beach on Friday 21st November, Derulo has established a huge global following with incredible chart success with recent top hits such as “Wiggle” and “Talk Dirty,” but also older classics such as 2010’s “Ridin’ Solo” and 2009’s “Whatcha’ Say.”

When matched with fellow Friday night performers, Bollywood star Hard Kaur and Emirati artist and local favourite Ruwaida Mahrooqi, the line-up is unrivalled in depth and wide appeal.

Juicy J

British singer, songwriter and actress Rita Ora burst on to the international scene in 2012 with chart-topping hits “How We Do (Party)” and “R.I.P.”, immediately cementing her status as one of the top performing artists in the world.

Tinashe

Abu Dhabi audiences are set to be not only thrilled by Ora’s renowned stage presence and her most recent hit “I Will Never Let You Down” on Saturday, 22 November, but also by this year’s most prominent breakout young artist, Tinashe.

Ragheb

Dubbed the next Beyoncé by the New York Times the singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, actress and former model will get the crowd singing along to her hit single “2 On” and tracks from her highly acclaimed debut album “Aquarius”.

Adding more global flavour to the Saturday shows will be celebrated Lebanese icon, Ragheb Alama,  who has built strong local and international followings throughout his career.

The Yasalam parade will feature local school floats, a marching band and breath taking performers along the boardwalk of the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
