Barely a fortnight left for Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt to surrender and serve his remaining jail-term of three-and-a-half years for possession of illegal arms in 1993.

He is in a hurry to complete his movie commitments working double shift.

But there have been reports that Sanjay Dutt hardly steps out of his home these days and prefers to use the time granted by the court to be with his children. With the media keeping a close eye on his movement, he avoids public appearances and even walking out for errands.

In the wake of such reports the actor recently stated that all he’s got is “betrayal” from the industry.

Here’s what Sanjay told TOI

“I did not charge them a penny for 30 days’ work. And what did I get in return? Betrayal. My co-stars told the media that I have been sitting at home, cooling my heels. But I was out there in the studios, shooting for them, just to save them from a financial crisis.”

While it is appreciated that he is completing the work before his surrender, Sanjay should also realise that all his co-stars have adjusted their dates according to his schedule, the directors and producers have also been working day in and day out to complete his part of the work.

It is not anyone's fault that Sanjay is being arrested or he was found keeping arms. All these adjustments only so that Sanjay can fulfill his part of the deal. He is doing any favour for anyone but fulfilling his commitments.

He has already finished shooting for Karan Johar's 'Unglee'. He now has to shoot a song for TP Agarwal's 'Policegiri', apart from shooting and dubbing for Apoorva Lakhia's 'Zanjeer' and Raju Hirani's 'PeeKeey'. Dutt is also doing a cameo in his home production, 'Hasmukh Fisal Gaya'.

While he is busy finishing shoot for all his films, he hardly gets time to spend with his kids and wife.

Sanjay Dutt along with his sisters has recently donated a mobile mammography ambulance on behalf of Nargis Dutt Charitable trust in Mumbai.
