Beyonce, Adele, Kanye West rule MTV Awards nominations

Published

Beyonce, Adele, Kanye West and Justin Bieber will be taking over the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards when the annual award show hits New York City this summer.

The full VMAs nominations list was released on Tuesday, and Beyonce is the queen bee, leading the list with her career best of 11 nominations in total for her visual album "Lemonade." Adele followed Beyonce, racking up the second-most nominations with eight in total, including seven for her "Hello" video.

The night's biggest award - video of the year - will be a race between Beyonce's "Formation," Adele's "Hello," Bieber's "Sorry," West's highly controversial "Famous" and Drake's "Hotline Bling."
