'Bigg Boss 9': Meet Iranian model, actress Mandana Karimi

Iranian model and actress Mandana Karimi was welcomed by host Salman Khan and she looks ready for the drama in the house.

Adult star Mia Khalifa featured in the 'likely list' for season 9 and that was enough to raise the interest for the show.

Over the years Pamela Anderson, Sunny Leone, Elli Avram, Natasa Stankovic, Vida Samadzai, Claudia Ciesla, Sofia Hayat, Jade Goody, Hazel Keech and Veena Malik made it to the house in previous seasons.

So no surprise when Karimi's name featured as a contestant.

Born to an Iranian mother and Indian father Mandana was brought up in Tehran in Iran.

The 27-year-old model began her career as an air hostess. Later she turned to modelling and had a successful stint in that profession.

After living in Hong Kong for few years Karimi travelled to India to try her hand in films.

Karimi was recently seen opposite Kunal Kemmu in 'Bhaag Johnny' and will also be seen in 'Kya Kool Hain hum 3' with Tusshar Kapoor.

She was also seen in a cameo role in Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal starrer 'Roy'.

Karimi hails from Tehran in Iran, and will add the perfect foreign twist to Salman's show.

The actress has also done quite a few modelling assignments in India and the Middle East.
