Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif claims to be media friendly, claims to have a "wonderful relationship" with the media and "accessible to the media" at all times.
So what is the reason behind the actress' furtive and invasive behaviour?
The 'media-friendly' Katrina suddenly seems to be in no mood to face the media.
Our guess is, Katrina might show her 'wonderful relationship' with the media only when she has to promote her next movie.
Also Kat might be 'accessible' when she wants to give an interview before her movie release.
The actor endorses a whole bunch of products, and part of her role is to speak to the media at press interactions that the brands host.
However, ever since the paparazzi images of her in a bikini, holidaying with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Ibiza, hit the press, Katrina, it seems, has been avoiding speaking to any journalist.
At a media event in Delhi organised by a brand that Katrina endorses, it was suddenly announced that no journalists would be allowed. Only photographers and TV camera crew were let inside the venue.
The rumours of Katrina turning media-shy only grew stronger when a press conference (this time in Mumbai; for another brand) was called off at the last minute.
Earlier, she snubbed a reporter who approached her at the airport (she was returning from Sri Lanka, where she was accompanying Ranbir on the sets of 'Bombay Velvet') for a reaction.
Well, this hardly looks as a friendly, accessible nature to us.
Katrina’ only reaction to the leaked Ibiza pictures came in the form of stern scathing letter she sent to the media right after.
The letter does not indicate healthy relationship either.
She wrote she is “most upset, distressed and feels invaded”, adding that, "I request that all media running these pictures please refrain from doing so. I have a wonderful relationship with the media and have been accessible to the media at all times. There is no reason for this furtive and invasive behavior (sic).”
We are trying to understand this friendly relationship Katrina shares with the media as she remains unavailable and snubs the press.
