Ranbir to confront Deepika?

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor wants to confront Deepika and reportedly, a meeting between the two ex lovers is on the cards, reveals The Times of India.

Kapoor apparently is very upset with such rumors being fed to the media and wants to trace the source.

According to him, the fountainhead of all these ugly rumours are sources close to Deepika. The worst part is that calls and even SMSes sent to DP are leaked to the press, making it seem as if he is chasing her all over again, reports the paper.

A source told TOI, “Ranbir wants to nail the leak”. Someone’s definitely planting stories against him and he is very angry. But he would like to give Deepika the benefit of doubt.”

Ranbir and Deepika have been in touch ever since their break up. However, constant media mud-slinging is taken a toll on their friendship.
 
 

Ajay, Abhi come together after eight years

Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn will re-unite on the big screen after a gap of eight years in the film Bol Bachchan. "My company will be producing a film called Bol Bachchan, which will release by Diwali next year. Abhishek and I will be acting in it," said Ajay. The film will be directed by Rohit Shetty, and Kareena Kapoor is expected to play the female lead.

Abhishek and Ajay were last seen in 2003 Zameen, which was also directed by Shetty.

Bollywood’s export to the South 3 Idiots

The Aamir Khan-starrer is being remade in Tamil and Telugu with director Shankar at the helm. The remake has been tentatively titled Rascal. While actor Vijay will replace Khan in the Tamil remake, Mahesh Babu will play the lead in the Telugu version of the film.

The film helped Amitabh Bachchan bag a national award. And now southern legend Kamal Haasan is making it’s Tamil version. If the buzz is to be believed then music maestro Ilayaraja, who scored music for Paa, has bagged the Tamil remake rights of the film.

Love Aaj Kal

Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Love Aaj Kal is getting remade in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan and Trisha Krishnan in the lead. The film is directed by Ganesh Babu and produced by K.Vijaya Bhaskar under the banner of Sri Parameswari Films.

Jab We Met

Kanden Kadhalai (I saw my love) is a Tamil romantic comedy film based on the Hindi blockbuster Jab We Met starring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. The Tamil version stars actors Bharath and Tamannaah in the lead roles. The film was released last year.

A Wednesday

Actor Kamal Hassan  remade A Wednesday in Tamil and Telugu with titles Unnaipol Oruvam (Someone Like You) and Eenadu respectively. The film starred Haasan and Mohanlal (Tamil) and Venkatesh (Telugu) in primary roles.
 

Shah Rukh and Devgn 'virtually' at war

The plot of Toonpur Ka Superhero is almost identical to that of RA.One. SRK is livid and has ordered for topnotch special effects to combat this, reports The Times of India.

The effervescent Kajol may be the only binding factor between the two warring superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. But even the never-say-die Kajol would find it hard to deal with the latest bone of contention between SRK and Devgn.

It now turns out that Ajay Devgn's prestigious home production Toonpur Ka Superhero featuring Devgn with Kajol has a near-identical plotline to RA.One, the paper said.

In Toonpur Devgn and Kajol have a young son who wants his seemingly ordinary dad to be a superhero. To prove himself a hero in his son's eyes Devgn vanishes into the boy's favourite cartoon world.

In RA.One Shah Rukh and Kareena Kapoor play a married couple with a son (same age as the boy in Toonpur...)who thinks his dad is too wimpy to be a true hero. To prove himself a hero Shah Rukh vanishes into a video game named RA.One. 
 
 
Priyanka to play a prostitute

Priyanka Chopra will play the role of a prostitute and not that of a nurse in Karan Johar's next, Agneepath, reports The Times of India.

Priyanka Chopra plays the romantic interest to Hrithik Roshan's character, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, in Karan Johar's much talked-about remake of the 1990 classic Agneepath.

But unlike the original, where Madhavi romanced Amitabh Bachchan in the role of a nurse, Priyanka will be playing a prostitute and will be called Kaali in the film.

TOI's source revealed, "Karan is leaving no stone unturned for the remake of Agneepath. However there are many changes that Karan has made in the script to appeal to today's generation."
