Indian screen idol Rajinikanth celebrates his 60th birthday today.

The megastar who usually prefers to celebrate this day out of town, has decided to spend the day with his family after many years, reports Indian television channel NDTV.

The superstar's latest film Enthiran has gone on to become the biggest commercial hit ever. On the personal front too the icon tasted success.

The actor's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth got married to Ashwin, and keeping the new son-in-law entertained alongwith the baby grandson, Linga (Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Dhanush's son) seems like a nice way to celebrate his birthday.

After his recent health scare, Hrithik Roshan has become the latest Bollywood actor to quit smoking, reports The Timesof India.

Roshan has also helped friend Arjun Rampal kick the butt. Aamir Khan began the year 2010 by resolving to give up cigarettes, and is currently off them, confesses to being an infrequent smoker only prior to the release of his films. "You can't quit for the sake of others, only for yourself," Khan was quoted in the paper.

Experts say Bollywood stars quitting smoking is a huge plus for the country where Hindi movies impact public imagination, says the daily.

Actor Sanjay Dutt hasn't given up the habit, but has cut down on it after his twin children were born. "He has cut down from two packets a day to just two cigarettes a day," says Dutt's manager Dharam Oberoi told the paper.

Actor Konkana Sen Sharma, too, has quit smoking. The recently married, mother-to-be tweeted, "It's been two months that I've given up smoking and drinking."

Urmila Matondkar has been campaigning against smoking for a while now, the daily reports. "I think it's a great thing that actors are kicking the butt — it'l save them as well as their millions of fans," Matondkar was quoted.

She was all praises for director Farah Khan and gave her the credit for the grand success of the song, reports IANS.
