Bollywood Buzz: Murder 2's music is BAD...

Mahesh Bhatt’s music sense has always been the talk of town in Bollywood. He is one of the few filmmakers who knows what good music is and even if the music is lifted from some Pakistani track, the songs have become hits. But when you listen to the songs of Murder 2 which has multiple music directors and lyricists, one does not get any good feel. The critics are also very disappointed with the quality of the music that Murder 2 has given.

Maybe we are not very well versed and the songs may pick up as they grow on you. But for the moment, they are not sounding like winners to us. Will bad music murder the film’s chances at the box office? Murder 2 has been directed by Mohit Suri and stars Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandes. Murder was directed by Anurag Basu and had Emraan with Mallika Sherawat in the lead role. This time around there is no Anurag and no Mallika and no good music too!

Rohit Shetty is gearing up to work with Shah Rukh Khan now. Rohit had gone to UTV with the idea to remake Angoor and ensured that UTV bought the rights of the film as well. Rohit has already met Shah Rukh and narrated the idea to him and King Khan seems to have loved it. “Yes, I did propose the idea to Shah Rukh Khan,” says Shetty.

“We are scripting the film and I will go to him once the script is ready and if Shah Rukh likes it, we will make the film with him,” says Shetty honestly even as he awaits the release of his Ajay Devgn starrer film Singham. Shetty will stary shooting his next film Bol Bachcan in August and complete the movie by November and wants to release that early next year.

Hooda a former actor from Ramu’s camp however did not find favour with Madhur- another Ramu camp protégé. So Hooda looked at a good chance to get himself some publicity and has been talking about how he was approached for the film and how he rejected the offer to work with Ash as his heroine.
