Bollywood Buzz: Sallu's plans go haywire...

Salman's schedule goes haywire

The shooting schedule of the film 'Bodyguard' has gone haywire now, or so we are to believe if we take the word of the inside sources.

'Bodyguard', directed by Siddiqui, the same maker who made the original film in Malayalam, was to initially shoot portions of the film in the scenic and breathtaking locales of the Alps and other parts of Europe.

But our know alls now inform us that the shoots have been moved to Mumbai and will be shot with Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan on sets with some flair.

One more song is being shot on the tried and tested locales of Filmcity at Goregaon in Mumbai. There were bulk dates from the lead pair, there were storyboards made and so what really went wrong?

We did some investigation and this is what we came up with. Apparently, the director and his team and the producers have had quite a miscommunication between themselves and the details of the songs to be shot were not furnished and hence the budgets for the same never got drafted.

Hence the filmmakers who had already been furnished with a said budget for the film were not given a hike at all by the corporate body backing the film.

The movie has to release within the next 50 days and the songs have now to be shot at the earliest. Hope that does not have a big effect on the final outcome of the film.

If one has seen the original Malayalam version, dunno how many people would have backed the movie to even get a Hindi remake starring Salman Khan.

But with a bodyguard like Sallu, one knows that the film is in safe hands.

Ranbir's holiday in Goa

The fact that the law of Murphy has caught up with Barfee and the film that was silently moving at a breakneck pace has halted because of disputes with the locals at Darjeeling is old news.

But what the hero Ranbir Kapoor has done at this moment is taken the chance to enjoy with his loved ones and friends and has moved off to Goa to get wet in the rains in the beautiful sea kissing state.

While we are still trying to find out who the 'friends' are, the filmmakers are busy erecting another set in Mumbai's Filmcity to ensure that the dates of the said actors in the film including Ranbir, Praiyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz do not go waste and the film does not suffer losses more than what they have after the Darjeeling sched got nixed.

Emmy's heroine fetish

Emraan Hashmi is clearly someone who understands when to up his market price and when to move out of the comfort zone.

Reason enough, we reckon that the actor who is now working in the sequel to Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and the Vidya Balan starrer The Dirty Picture has refused his own kin.

The script of Jannat 2 was ready and Emmy was asked by the Bhatt camp to do the film.

Emraan knew that he wasn't getting a big enough heroine in the film and his last ouevre with the Bhatts - Murder 2 - was a hit and now he needs to up his ante by either doing biggies or get big heroines to work opposite him.

However, the script of Jannat 2 did not require a big name opposite him and Emmy who has been rejected by big heroines earlier and has now found them running to him has put up the 'no dates' board outside his office to all the small films he is being offered. Pity!
