If there is one thing that can be said about Shah Rukh Khan is his clean-cut image on screen: he will romance women half is age, but on-screen lip-locks have always been a big no.
So it has surprised us all when the rumour mills started to churn that the actor has decided to bend his ‘no kiss’ rule for the mega budget sci-fi, “Ra. One”.
SRK has allegedly shot for some intimate scenes and lip-locked with none other than Kareena Kapoor herself, his co-star in the film. The duo allegedly got cosy during one of “Ra.One’s” song sequences.
Kapoor, of course, hasn’t shied away from any bold avatar in the past, what with smooching away Akshay Kumar a number of times in “Kambhakt Ishq” and real-life boyfriend Saif Ali Khan in “Kurbaan”.
Friends and acquaintances of Khan are keeping mum on the subject, but cynics in the film business are saying this is nothing but yet another cheap publicity stunt to get in the crowds.
Well, we guess all shall be revealed once the film releases on October 25 in UAE cinemas.

Katrina Kaif dolls up for Barbie

The wait is finally over as Katrina Kaif unveiled the Barbie that has been inspired by the diva herself.
‘Barbie I Can Be a Movie Star’, saw an elated Kaif say: “I am thrilled and excited at having the ‘I Can Be a Movie Star’ Barbie doll inspired by me. It is almost unbelievable, that a doll that I grew up playing with is one day going to take after me, seem like me.
“Barbie is not just another doll; she is one of the most popular characters in the world who is a fashionista and has a flourishing career. It is an absolute honour to be associated with it.”
It was around two years ago, when Kaif stormed the ramp as a real-life Barbie for the Barbie All Doll’d Up show. The super success of her avatar is what allegedly inspired the doll makers to create an one-of-its -kind doll in the likeness of Kaif: one special highly-exclusive doll featuring the winning designer outfit by young prodigy Nishka Lulla worn on the runway by Kaif.
Apparently the other hot contender for the lookalike Barbie was none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Zarine Khan has had enough of being a Katrina Kaif lookalike
Zarine Khan (SUPPLIED)
When Salman Khan’s protégé, Zarine Khan, first hit marquee in the actor’s mega flop, “Veer”, all people couldn’t get enough of was her uncanny resemblance to the actor’s then girlfriend, Katrina Kaif.
Now nearly two years later, the actress has had enough of such comparisons. In an interview in “Times of India”, Khan as said that she has been trying hard to recover from her debut.
The actress said: “You know after the release of “Veer”, I was lost… then, there were all these comparisons about me being a Katrina Kaif look-alike and how I would eventually disappear like Sneha Ullal [another Salman Khan discovery in “Lucky”].”
She added: “Now I have to shed one more issue and that’s being a Katrina look alike.”
Khan stated that there was misconception that, like Kaif, she too was from the UK, was 26-27 years old and struggled to speak Hindi.
She said: “The fact is I have been born and raised in Bombay and I am just 23 years old. I don’t know why everyone feels that I can’t speak Hindi. I cannot only speak Hindi but also Marathi and that too fluently.”
If that hasn’t set the record straight, the young talent believes that her new film, Sajid Naidawala’s “Housefull 2” will ensure her acting skills come out to shine.
