Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty prelaunches India property project in Dubai

Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty owns not just one, but two houses in Dubai, but as chairperson of Groupco Developers, a property development company, she is now selling her Indian project in the emirate.

Malaga Panvel was pre-launched in Dubai by Groupco Developers during the Indian Property Show exhibition by Raj Kundra, Shilpa’s husband.

“What connects me to the new business is my emotional connect with the middle-class and people's aspiration to own a home,” Shipla said.

“I have been very fortunate that I can afford certain things today, but deep down I am still a middle class person from Chembur and therefore I can connect with people's dream of owning a decent house that is affordable,” she added.

Architect Hafeez Contractor has designed the apartment complex, spread across 36 acres of land.

Malaga is a kingdom cuddled by green environs and a realm embedded with European luxuries, the company said. The project offers studio-to-three bedroom apartments. Online sale listings put average prices at Rs3,750 per square feet.

Shilpa Shetty owns an apartment in Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world.
