Bollywood rush: After SRK, Ash, Anil Kapoor looks for 'second home' in Dubai

Anil Kapoor is in Dubai shooting for Anees Bazmee’s film Welcome Back.

What we are told by a lot of people close to Kapoor and the film’s unit is that Kapoor is also in the Emirates to scout for properties to invest in. Sources inform that Kapoor has been looking at some prime properties coming up where he wants to invest and since Dubai is not very far from Mumbai, he wants to try and put his money where he can come and supervise whenever he has the time and the inclination.

“Anil has also been meeting developers to see where the money can be invested. He came to Dubai in the first week of March and an important meeting that happened on the Ides of March could convert into a possible deal,” says a source.

Kapoor who has been rejecting films by the dozen working in only Welcome Back at the moment will be shooting soon for the second season of his grand TV production 24.

But ahead of the Dubai Expo, Anil feels that the best returns for his monies can come only from the Emirates and hence has zeroed in on the country.
