Bollywood's final salute to Pandit Ravi Shankar

Celebs from Bollywood took to Twitter to lend words to their grief at the demise of sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar.

Apart from recomposing 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha' at the tender age of 25, the Ravi Shankar also composed music for a few selected Indian films, including Satyajit Ray's 'Apur Sansar', 'Godaan' - based on the famous book written by Munshi Premchand, 'Vachan', 'Anuradha', 'Gandhi' and 'Meera'.

The legend last performed in California on November 4 along with his daughter Anoushka Shankar.
