Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are holidaying in London away from the media glare, for a change. The actor couple have so far ventured out only for a charity dinner on June 15.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Aishwarya spoke at length during the event on how she is embracing motherhood: "Pretty much like everyone else here. It is not easy but this evening is amongst the first baby steps to embrace life as it is today. Being a mum is like bliss and I absolutely love it."
Aishwarya has also been spotted out shopping with Aaradhya in UK's upmarket baby shop, without hubby Abhishek in tow.
This is seven-month-old Aaradhya's third holiday. She first holidayed with her parents in Goa. Then the mother-daughter duo had barely started their holiday in Dubai, when Abhishek injured himself on the sets of Bol Bachchan. The duo flew back to Mumbai as they wanted to be near Abhishek who was missing his wife and daughter.
Hopefully, this will be a memorable and a happy holiday for the busy parents and their little angel before Aishwarya starts gearing up for her grand comeback into the world of films after a year's hiatus.
Although Aishwarys claims that motherhood is her top priority and she has no immediate plans to return to films.
According to the Bollywood grapevine, Aishwarya has principally agreed to now work in a film with a filmmaker known to get actresses doing different roles on the big screen.
She had been reading several scripts even before the baby was born, but stopped after Aaradhya’s birth. And now after reading scripts all over again, she has zeroed in on this director who she feels will do a lot of justice to her talent and beauty and also has picked a script which she can work on even as she plays mom to the little one.
