Amitabh Bachchan 'works out' with 'little' Aaradhya

Grandchildren are generally the apple of their grandparents' eyes and it is no different in Bollywood's numero uno family.

Grandfather Amitabh Bachchan has been giving his gym a miss ever since Aaradhya Bachchan was born on November 16, 2011.

A doting grandpa and veteran Bollywood legend Amitabh even took some time off from work around the birth of the 'little one', as he fondly calls her. A grandpa, thrice over, he is known to be very fond of daughter Shweta Nanda's daughter and son as well.

Not to be left behind, grandmom Jaya has nicknamed Aaradhya 'Strawberry', for she resembled the red-coloured plump fruit when she was born.

Big B recently tweeted on his blog Bigb.bigadda.com: "Ever realized playing with the 'little one' for just a few minutes could be equivalent to an entire two hour workout in the gym! Child is the father of man."

Now, the fans already know that brown-eyed Aaradhya is a tall girl for her age and she is an active toddler. So, it is not surprising that she is giving her grandpa a good workout.

According to media reports and the bits of information that the family has shared about Aaradhya with their fans, it is known that the Bachchan family has not hired the services of a nanny and Aishwarya has been looking after her daughter from Day 1 with the cooperation of her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. Ash's mother also chips in and travels with her whenever she has to go out of Mumbai for work-related commitments.
