Bollywood Buzz: Kareena to miss out Ra.One2?

Each day, the buzz is growing stronger that Kareena and boyfriend Saif Ali Khan will tie the knot early next year.

If rumours are to be believed they might get married right after the release of Saif production 'Agent Vinod'.

Although Kareena has said she will continue working in films after marriage, she will definitely give priority to marriage and that means less movies and assignments.

On the other hand Shah Rukh is all set to make the sequel of his ambitious sci-fi adventure 'Ra.One'. He has already commissioned a team of writers to pen down the script of the movie.

It is reported by India Today that the 'Chammak-Challo' girl Kareena Kapoor is not going to be part of 'Ra.One' sequel.

So SRK will have to look for a new leady lady. Moreover team 'Ra.One' wasn't much thrilled with the amount of time Kareena gave to promote the movie proior to the release.

Kareena's reluctance to work or give priority to marriage may cost her 'Ra.One' 2. There are also talks that even Kareena is not very pleased with the box-office show of 'Ra.One'.

'Ra.One' saw a 70-80 per cent occupancy in its first weekend, which was considered fairly unimpressive given the fact that the film's promotional budget - at around Rs.50 crore - was the highest in Bollywood to date.
 
The film was declared a "hit" by almost all the trade magazines - a far cry from the blockbuster status that people in the industry expected.

 Veena Malik to do an item number

Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik will now sizzles with oodles of attitude in the item song 'Channo' in the film 'Gali Gali Chor Hai' a film by Rumy Jafry.

The song Channo from the film is being choreographed by Ahmed Khan and sung by Mamta Sharma, while Anu Malik has given the music score.

She had earlier refused to perform in several Bollywood item songs. According to Hindustan Times the song 'Channo' has caught her imagination and she agreed to dance on it.

In the song she will be a dancer from Mumbai who has comes to entertain the politicians by her sizzling and sensuous performance.

Last week Veena created quite a buzz when she posed nude for an Indian Magazine.

After nude photos of Veena Malik appeared on the cover of a men's magazine, her father has disowned her. 

He father demanded that she be punished for the nude photo shoot.

Veena has denied modeling for the magazine FHM. She claims that the pictures were fake and doctored.

'Gali Gali Chor Hai' deals with the issue of corruption, and Akshaye Khanna plays the role of a victim. Shriya Saran plays his wife, while Mugdha Godse plays the role of a call center employee.

Dev Anand's ashes immersed in Godavari river

Bollywood's evergreen star Dev Anand's ashes were immersed in the Godavari river in Nashik, India on Wednesday evening by his son Suneil, a family friend said.

Dev Anand's son Suneil had come to India from London to immerse his late father's ashes in the holy river.

The last rites of Dev Anand, who passed away in London on December 3 following a heart attack, were performed on Saturday at the Putney Vale Crematorium in London.

A memorial service was also held at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in London, the same day as reported byMid Day.

In Mumbai, a memorial service will be held on Friday. The service will be held at Mehboob Studios in suburban Bandra on Friday.

It will be held there because a make-up room of Dev saab is still at the studio. Also, there is some emotional connect as he had shot a lot of films over there.

Dev Anand who dedicated 65 years of his life to cinema and acted in more than 110 movies, died in London Dec 3. He was 88.
